I have been taking my car to British Worx OC for a couple years now. My experience has always been great! John is easy to work with and he is communicative regarding time frame and repair cost and he is honest and upfront. I had a fuel pump issue and I took my car in to John preparing to be responsible for the cost, however unbeknownst to me, he called the MINI dealership and found out my car VIN number was part of a factory recall - which meant no cost to me! But that also no profit for John. I would not of even known to ask or how to look for recalls on my car. That is the honest and upfront type of business this is. And that is why I wont go to another car repair. Thank you British Worx OC!

I brought my mom's Mini Cooper her to get the passenger side mirror replaced (it was cracked). I had to ordered the mirror the day before using the vehicle's VIN number. The procedure took something like 10 minutes. I was in and out.

Checking in with Yelp got me a $25 discount.

I consider the place a cheaper and quicker maintenance and repair shop for Mini Cooper's.

They have an after hours drop box for those that need to leave their car and keys to it.

The one thing the British Worx OC can't do to a Mini Cooper is make a copy of a key.

I bought a used MiniCooper Clubman S from Carmax. When it was time for the first service I brought it here and asked John to give it a good once over. I've been bringing it to him for my normal service ever since. He's done the brakes on it and this week replaced a leaking gasket he found during the most recent service inspection.

John is always very clear about what needs to be done and what he's found and points out the pros and cons. He's even shown me a couple of things about the vehicle I didn't know.

Best of all I discovered he's an authorized Carmax repair facility, meaning I can leverage my Carmax extended warranty at his place, saving me some $$$.

If you have a mini, I highly recommend John and BritishWorx.

Very professional & realistic pricing

Brought my Mini to the dealer for an engine and was promptly given a very hefty bill. British Worx OC was my first stop after the dealership, and they provided a prompt quote that was far more reasonable than the dealer. I appreciated the transparency of the shop and the owner throughout the process. My car was worked on over a year ago, and the issue has not returned (and my car passed smog!). Thanks British Worx OC for supplying reasonable Mini work to South OC.

Came in for an oil change for a pretty reasonable price. They sent over inspection photos and observations, very helpful since I don't have access to a lift. They also did a brake fluid flush which I was overdue for (TIL apparently every 2 years on a Mini). Ken is great. Professional, friendly, and might be on the autism spectrum (not a bad thing at all, just be prepared for some strange answers, lol).

They are the same business as OC European Auto Service. Threw me off for a second since their website branding doesn't mention that at all.

I miss Alexus being their front desk girl, she was a great rep, but, shout out to Ken and Paul for the incredible work they do dedicating hours to all of these cars and delivering the most exceptional service and care. Their craftsmanship and teamwork is unmatched. They have many connections and they do not rush through their work, everything is done meticulously and to the point, with a 2-year 24,000mi warranty. With smiles and fist pumps, and PERSONALIZED courtesy calls and text messages. They are very PERSONAL here and this is why I take my business here.

Manager Ken is SO helpful, thoughtful, patient, experienced, and thorough. I’ve taken my 2019 Mini Countryman here a few times and have always been extremely pleased with both the conscientious service AND reasonable prices. Don’t hesitate to take your vehicles here!

I've been coming to BW OC for about 5 years now. John always ran a clean, fair business and provided excellent service. His wealth of information and expertise on all things mini was above and beyond what most mechanics could provide. Since Covid, things have changed a bit and John is no longer there full time but he's found a more than capable replacement. Christian now holds the reigns and I honestly didn't think anyone would ever be able to replace John but I'm happy to say I was wrong. Christian brings the same fairness and work ethic to the shop and prices are still reasonable. I love that I can drop my clubman off in the middle of the night if necessary because of the key drop box. They're always providing alternatives and work arounds that you wouldn't get from the dealerships. If it hadn't been for BW OC I probably would've traded in my min years ago but as it is I'm able to keep her on the road and running fine.

Words cannot express how happy I am with this garage. I recently purchased a beautiful 2011 Mini, which was overheating & leaking. I was totally taken for a ride at another garage ("Mini specialist" in Aliso Viejo) after getting the car back from him, the engine light came on while driving home. I found rave reviews on Yelp for British Worx & it's all true. Turns out I paid for an oil change & coolant flush that never even happened! There were a few other things caught in time for a super reasonable price. My Mini was ready in a day and driving like a dream now. Night & day. Car is not overheating anymore, no leaks, fans are turning on that I never even knew it had. I was told the clutch & dual-mass flywheel needed to be replaced at the first place, British Works explained that I have 25% of it's life still left. Honest, kind, affordable and fast service. Need I say more! We'll be going back. Thank you British Worx!!

This will be my home Mini Cooper shop. John is a great knowledgeable man who knows the Mini inside out. You want your Mini to be handled by factory techs that know what they are doing. Don't go anywhere else. MiniWorx is a blessing for Mini Coopers.

Honest mechanic who truly cares about and knows Mini. I had a hard time finding a mechanic I could trust to service my Mini Cooper as I did not want to take it to the dealer because they are so expensive. I found MiniWorx on Yelp and am so glad that I did. John and his team are amazing and take good care of my baby. He works on nothing but Mini and does excellent work without "recommending" work that does not need to be done. Another shop said I needed over $5k in repairs but John confirmed that was all untrue. MiniWorx is the ONLY shop that I trust for my car, I would definitely recommend this place.

I needed help with my motorcycle while I was in the area. I pulled into this first mechanic for help to use some tools to take a body faring off and they where quick to help. Not only did they let me use tools, I think it was the owner came out and helped me take off the faring. Great guy to drop what he was doing and help me

John at MiniWorx is not just the best Mini mechanic I’ve ever worked with, but in the top 5 specialist mechanics I’ve used with my collection of offbeat cars in the last 20 years.

He’s polite, really knowledgeable, charges fair rates and is always looking to give me best value for money. When I’ve had to have my car towed to the shop in the middle of the night it was ready for me within a couple of hours the next morning.

The previous owner of my mini recommended this shop to me, and I will (and have) recommended it to anyone who asks.

I started hearing metal on metal on my front brakes so I called and Christian got me in right away. This was my second time using British Worx and both experiences have been great. I will use them again for any services I need on my Mini.

I recently had John and Ryan install some NM Engineering performance springs in my 2010 Mini JCW. The job was completed on time, at the estimated cost and the installation was done to my full satisfaction. I even found the replaced springs wrapped in plastic - neatly placed in a carton in my trunk upon pick-up.

I needed to find a local MINI service expert on short notice, and I am fortunate that I found MiniWorx. I made a reservation a day in advance, and the process was effortless. All my questions were answered thoroughly, and the needed maintanence and repairs handled smoothly. The MiniWorx option is far superior and stress-free in comparison to working with the dealerships. I just moved back to Southern California, and I'm relieved that my MINI will be in capable and honest care here.

After 5 years of going to the MINI dealer for all my maintenance I stepped out to try something different by going to British Worx OC...and it couldn't of been a better choice.

Taking your car in anywhere for any repairs is always like shoppin' at Costco. You always end up spending more than what you expected but at BWOC the repairs suggested are well work it

My only complaint....the 'fragrance' in the waiting room was a bit too strong for me to sit and wait for my car. Turning back a notch or two would be okay by me

We sale about 20 mini cooper's per mounth. I do business with a Quite a few mechanic shops, hands down this shop is the best place to take your car. I like then so much I will start sending my other makes of cars to them.. great work, very fair prices, honest doignosss, always on time, what more can you ask for....

MiniWorxOC, is the place to be if you own a Mini Cooper. Any sort of issue that pops up, John, as well as, the mechanics know and are fully capable of fixing the problem. They provide a great expertise in Mini Cooper's and know how to fully communicate with whomever. They also provide great prices and several days of fixing the certain issue. I would recommend this place to anyone who owns a mini coopet without taking it to a mini cooper dealership. Great auto shop.

These guys are great. Excellent service and prices. They will charge you 1/2 to 1/3 of what the dealership charges and guarantee the job. Not like the dealerships (Crevier comes to mind) where they overcharge you, do it wrong and you get charged more the next time you go for them to do the job right.

I have had some not great experiences with mechanics, and so I was open to trying someplace new and am so glad I did.

I called to see about getting our car checked out because we weren't sure what was up. I called and chatted with Christian, he was so kind and walked me through the steps and even got us in same-day. Will certainly be coming here in the future!

Just dropped my money mini off for a diagnosis of overheating issue, Spoke to John who was very kind and knowledgeable and even offered to diagnose the issue for no cost which another place was going to charge $2-300 for. I've had issue with other mechanics before but so far so good! hoping it's not a head gasket but I'm sure John will figure it out.

I can't say enough positive things about British Worx. The precious owner John took excellent care of my 2010 MINI Clubman after my warranty ran out and he was always patient, kind and fair with pricing. The new owner Christian is of equal caliber. It's comforting to have a fair and honest auto repair shop, especially with an older car that has had some issues.

Love these guys! Both my husband & I always bring our Minis here for service. I won't take my Mini Cooper anywhere else! They do excellent work and specialize in Minis, and on top of that they are reasonably priced. Added bonus... the reception area is so clean & beautifully contemporary. Christian is warm, friendly knowledgeable and trustworthy. I appreciate their professional and courteous service. That's so hard to find these days.

I was SO HAPPY to find John at MiniWorx OC! After getting horrible customer service at Irvine Mini for the last time, I took my little Mini over to MiniWorx to get serviced. I experienced top notch customer service from John over the phone and in person. I was very impressed with his intimate knowledge of Mini's, parts, recall problems, etc. He took the time to answer all my questions kindly and showed me how to check the oil. He is a genuinely nice man, running a legit & honest business. The prices are totally fair and you can get in and out quickly with your car running like new. I will NEVER go back to the dealership!! I can't begin to explain how much of a help John was. He is the friendliest person I have ever dealt with at any auto repair place. He always calls back and leaves voicemails!! (very helpful to me because I am always in meetings). He even took the time out of his day to drive my really dirty car himself to the Mini dealership to get the part replacement (because it was under warranty at the dealership). I really appreciate everything you have done and I would not have gone any place else. For anything Mini Cooper related, I will only come here. It is definitely worth the drive for me.

Honest, professional, knowledgeable, one of the best repair/service business I have used. If possible, I would give them 10 stars. After the engine light came on, I took my 2010 Mini to Miniworxs. The car needed a new thermostat, they could have just done the work and charged me, but Jon checked with Mini service and found out that it was still under warranty by the factory. Miniworxs saved me hundreds of dollars.

I bought my 2002 Mini used. I have been wanting one of these cars for so long. My mini needed a little TLC, thankfully I found Miniworx to make that happen,now my car runs like brand new! I have always been hesitant of mechanic's until now. I feel Miniworx are trustworthy, informative and reasonably priced. I am so happy to have a place that works only on Mini Coopers.

I highly recommend MiniWorx for their excellent customer service, patience, knowledge & honesty. I had repairs done recently to my 2007 Cooper S. Instead of immediately trying to sell their own business and rake up a huge bill, John made sure I confirmed if any of my items were still under warranty & could be handled by the dealer.
